We have sailed for a long time in the Komodo archipelago, but now the Wisesa is specialized in the Raja Ampat archipelago in order to offer the best quality of cruises to our customers in accordance with our ethics. Here are our recommendations:
– Important ! in order to manage possible flight delays or cancellations, we strongly advise you to arrive in Sorong at least one day before the departure of the cruise and to stay in a hotel nearby. Otherwise you must arrive at Sorong airport on the day of departure before 8:00 am.

If you are going through Jakarta:
– There are daily flights from Jakarta airport (CGK) to Sorong (SOQ) Usually direct night flights arriving very early in the morning. Recommended airlines are Garuda Indonesia – Batik airline – City Link.

If you go through Bali (Denpasar)
– The flight from Bali (DPS) to Sorong (SOQ) transits Makassar (UPG). We advise you to take a flight from Bali to Makassar at the end of the day then to take a room in the airport at the IBIS Budget hotel, to rest while waiting for your night flight from Makassar (UPG) to Sorong. He usually arrives at his destination at 6 or 7 in the morning.

What are the visa requirements to enter Indonesia?
We prefer not to give specific advice here as rules change regularly. We have some knowledge, but the best would be to contact a visa agency after visiting your Embassy website in Indonesia.

However a couple of stable rules below:
Visa: Citizens from most countries are issued a free 30-day visa on arrival. Some nationalities will have to pay a fee to obtain a visa upon arrival in Indonesia.

Passport: Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date you intend to leave Indonesia. Your passport must also be in good condition, with at least 3 blank pages.
