Thank you for your interest in booking a cruise aboard KLM Wisesa. Please take your time to carefully read the following general terms & conditions. “Cruising Raja Ampat” is the commercial name for the Indonesian Company PT. Tanjung Emas Santosa who owns and operate the boat KLM Wisesa. By sending us a deposit with your confirmed booking, you are automatically agree with the following conditions attached in all our invoices & contracts.
Each reservations must be done by electronic mail. Please indicate the number of berths required, the full name and age of each passengers, and any special requirements. We will send you a proforma invoice, and will ask you a first payment (deposit) of 30% of the total price of your cruise, this deposit have to be sent to confirm the booking no later than 10 days after the date of the receipt of the proforma invoice. If this booking fee is not received within 10 days, then your reservation is nullified and we cannot guarantee you that your required berths will be available for your desired cruise. Your reservation is confirmed on receipt of your first payment (deposit). At this time your reservation with “KLM Wisesa” is validated and you will receive in return a confirmation letter from PT Tanjung Emas Santosa by electronic mail relating to your reservation. From this time on the rights and responsibilities of the contract, including these General Terms & Conditions, will take effect in the best interests of both, you and PT Tanjung Emas Santosa.
The balance payment of your cruise must be paid to PT Tanjung Emas Santosa at least 90 days before the cruise departure date. In the case where a reservation is made less than 90 days before the departure date, the total cruise price must be paid at the time of reservation. If payments are not made in the time frames required, then PT Tanjung Emas Santosa can cancel the booking and enforce the cancellation policy mentioned in Paragraph 3 of these conditions.
Deposit and balance payments can be made by transfer to PT Tanjung Emas Santosa bank account in Indonesia. Account numbers will be provided in the corresponding invoice or quotation. Transfers should mention the cruise reference and passenger(s) full name(s). For bank transfer payment, please consider the bank’s administration fee to assure that the required payment is net of the required fee. We accept credit card or Mastercard online payments through MC-payment, then a 3% surcharge applies to this credit card payment. Please contact us for details if you wish to pay with your credit card. On board payments have to be done in cash. Any currency are accepted.
If a guest wishes to cancel or change a reservation in any way, it must be done by electronic mail to PT Tanjung Emas Santosa at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. At this time all documents already sent to the client need to be returned to PT Tanjung Emas Santosa. To determine the date of cancellation, the business date of the email will be used as the specific cancellation date. In the case of cancellation from the guest the following conditions apply:
• More than 90 days prior to departure: 30% of the total price of the cruise will be charge.
• 90 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the total cruise price will be charge.

If you cannot travel due to Covid-19, we will honour the monies paid to us and move the booking to a later date. For this to be applicable, one of the following must apply:
• You have contracted the virus within 30 days to departure and can provide medical evidence to support this
• Your final destination country prevents you from entering due to their governmental guidelines and restrictions on your country of residence
• Your country of residence prevents you from departing due to their governmental guidelines and restrictions on the embarkation point for the
• If PT Tanjung Emas Santosa cannot operate due to local restrictions linked to Covid-19
If any of these situations occur, PT Tanjung Emas Santosa will reschedule the guest(s) on another similar cruise of the same duration at No Fee for up to two (2) years after the original departure date.
If any of the above does not apply, it is your responsibility to get yourself to the point of embarkation.
It is highly recommended that all customers purchase a travel cancellation insurance. PT Tanjung Emas Santosa cannot be held responsible in case of missing flights or any others problems resulting at a no show of the customer at the departure port the departure day, it’s why we recommend such an insurance.
If for any reason a passenger cannot make a trip that has already been booked, then the reservation can be transferred to another person. The new passenger will be subject to the contract conditions of PT Tanjung Emas Santosa. Passenger substitution will be allowed up to 3 days, or less depending on the cruise, prior to the day of departure. PT Tanjung Emas Santosa takes no responsibility for changes to any bookings not made by PT Tanjung Emas Santosa on behalf of the passenger ( air tickets, hotel reservation etc.).
All passengers must be ready for pick up at Hotel or Airport of the cruise departure city, later 10h00 of the morning of the first cruise day. If a passenger doesn’t show up at the meeting point (airport, harbour, boat, etc…) for any reasons, KLM Wisesa crew will wait for him up to 3 hours if informed, or as much as possible (according to the departure time foreseen and the other passengers expectations) if not, PT Tanjung Emas Santosa cannot be held responsible. The “no show” of the passenger is then considered as a last minute cancellation. The passenger can’t expect any refund from PT Tanjung Emas Santosa.
For a full boat private charter, if passengers doesn’t show up at the meeting point (airport, harbour, boat, etc…) for any reason, KLM Wisesa crew will wait for them. PT Tanjung Emas Santosa cannot be held responsible for the “no show” of the passengers. If the delay is more than 24 hours then passengers will have to pay any additional costs related to port navigation clearance which will have to be reissued.The passengers can’t expect any refund from PT Tanjung Emas Santosa, for the missing cruise hours or days.
It is mandatory that every passengers have medical evacuation insurance, and that every divers have medical evacuation insurance that covers diving activities such as DAN Insurance or similar.
PT Tanjung Emas Santosa reserves the right to alter the itinerary of a cruise for any reason it deems necessary (for example, due to weather conditions, port closures, or if the captain deems the safety ship and/or passengers are threatened). In the event of an unforeseen change in the port of embarkation or disembarkation, PT Tanjung Emas Santosa will provide logistical assistance to ensure that travelers are directed to the port of departure or their next destination, but does not cover any associated costs.
Full boat charters must respect the general program in regards to the dates of the cruise. In effect, this relates to the date and departure point of the boat. The boat must imperatively leave and arrive at the locations of the general itinerary due to logistics for the following charters. In the case where a full charter is organized, it is possible to modify the program somewhat. (Duration of a stage as an example) However, the necessity to respect the arrival and departure dates and ports still remain.
PT Tanjung Emas Santosa reserves the right to modify, interrupt or cancel a charter when unforeseen events are imposed on the company or when the security of the traveling clients may be compromised. These may include but are not limited to: refusal or cancellation of navigation rights for any reason, flight landing rights, strikes, civil or international war, political or economic disturbances, terrorist threat or activity, fire, pandemic, climatic, seismic or volcanic events endangering the safety of our passengers. In any case you will be informed by PT Tanjung Emas Santosa as soon as possible. In these particular cases, the traveller may not apply for reimbursement from PT Tanjung Emas Santosa. Travelers, who have foreseen travel insurances taking these unforeseen events into consideration, may request reimbursement directly with their respective insurance company.
In case of any technical damage occurred aboard KLM Wisesa and preventing the departure of the cruise, PT Tanjung Emas Santosa will :
• Either provide an equivalent service on a similar type of boat.
• Either postpone the trip without charge at a later date.
• Either PT Tanjung Emas Santosa shall be liable to refund 100% of the deposit moneys already paid to PT Tanjung Emas Santosa.
Any form of additional compensation will not be allowed. In case of such problems PT Tanjung Emas Santosa will inform the customer at the earliest possible date.
Our cruises are guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 6 (six) adult passengers, if PT. Tanjung Emas Santosa don’t have this minimum of 6 (six) adult passengers, PT. Tanjung Emas Santosa can decide to cancel a departure and will notify the customers 90 days prior departure date. we will refund any payment made in full.
If PT. Tanjung Emas Santosa have another request by a group (private charter) on the same date, before we reach the minimum of of 6 (six) adult passengers, we will prioritize the group and we will refund any payment made in full.
Any form of additional compensation against PT Tanjung Emas Santosa will not be allowed.
Children are accepted aboard Wisesa. During the cruise we remind you that children remain the total responsibility of their parents. Parents are required to ensure that the children respect all aboard safety procedures, wear a life jacket aboard the boat WISESA and during the speedboat transfer, and also do not disturb the peace and quiet of the other passengers, or the effective management of the cruise. No babysitting services are offered onboard. Parents are required to ensure that the children are comfortable in water activity and know how to swim.
PT Tanjung Emas Santosa assume no responsibility and offer no compensation for injury, death or damage occurred to the passengers during the cruise aboard Wisesa, during speedboat transfer or during our different activities. In case of accident for any reason or a medical problem arising during the cruise, either on board or on shore, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger and his family.
PT Tanjung Emas Santosa does not take any responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the personal belongings of customers for any reason. A safe is available in each cabin, or in the cruise director’s cabin, but PT Tanjung Emas Santosa declines all responsibility in the event of theft of personal belongings of customers on board the Wisesa in or out of the safe.
The passenger must declare at the time of reservation that they do not suffer from any mental, physical, or other, disability that may put them, or other passengers at risk. PT Tanjung Emas Santosa reserves the right to refuse the contracted services to a passenger presenting these risks during a charter.
Participate to a cruise with PT Tanjung Emas Santosa may involve risks above and beyond those encountered on a more conventional holiday. The vacations we offer may involve extreme and dangerous activities including road travel, boat travel in ocean swells, trekking, canoeing, surfing in large swells, scuba diving, free diving, snorkeling in wild area, all of which have inherent dangers that can result in serious injury including death. Our employment of guides can by way of experience and knowledge endeavour to reduce some of these risks but the risks remain inherent to the activities. You must be prepared to accept the risks associated with these activities if you attend our trips. Our vacations may also involve dangers due to the remoteness of the islands we visit. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you accept the risks outlined in the above paragraphs and fully assume the risks of traveling with PT Tanjung Emas Santosa aboard KLM WISESA. You agree to release PT Tanjung Emas Santosa and KLM Wisesa employees from any liabilities connected to these risks.
It is the responsibility of the Client to be in possession of a valid passport (minimum of 6 months remaining before expiry), visa permits, inoculations and preventative medicines as may be required for the duration of the trip. Information about these matters or related items is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of PT Tanjung Emas Santosa.
